Although having reached an acceptable level of performance. Immunization coverage remains stationary the last 3 years and the country faces huge challenges in vaccine management
How can you make a difference?
Under the guidance of immunization specialist with close collaboration of the chief of Health, the immunization officer/ consultant provides technical support and coordination to cold chain and vaccine management under immunization system strengthening and acceleration of Routine Immunization in Cameroun. Document project information, achievements and funds utilization for preparation of donor reports and funding proposals.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
Education:
University degree in engineering, logistics management, public health or related technical field (Bachelor + 3). Familiarity with the theoretical basis and the practical applications of cold chain principles, vaccine and logistics management, as well as the planning and management of PHC services, with emphasis on delivery of immunization services.
Experience:
At least two years progressively responsible field work experience in immunization and cold chain required, including experience at national level in Africa or other developing countries. Previous experience in working within UNICEF or other UN agencies is an asset

CONDITIONS OF WORK
The consultants will be based inMaroua (Far North and North), Bertoua (Adamawa, East and South), Buea (South-West, West and North-West) and Yaoundé (Littoral and Central);
hey will do field missions on average 10 days of missions per month, especially in regions other than their region of residence. Travel expenses will be covered by them.
SUPERVISION / SUPERVISION
The consultants will be placed under the direct supervision of the immunization specialist in close contact with the Sub-Office health specialist and the head health section.
They will have deliverables to submit to him for validation in the prelude to each payment request.
They will have a self-assessment pool every five month and be subject to formative supervision activities.
CRITERIA FOR Individual EVALUATION
Any natural or legal person with the qualifications described above wishing to apply for this consultancy will submit a dossier including a technical offer and a financial offer. The technical offer will present the methodological approach proposed to achieve the objectives of the mission within the time allotted. The financial offer will present the detailed costs of the service. A distinction will be made between fees and reimbursable fees

NOTE:
The financial proposal shall contain the information on the fees for the services to be provided, based on the expected results in the terms of reference.
The maximum number of points will be attributed to the lowest financial proposal that is evaluated and compared to other technically qualified candidates who have attained a minimum of 49 points during the technical evaluation. The other financial proposals will receive points in reverse proposal at the lowest price.
