The efficiency and effectiveness of the support provided by the Sr. Supply & Logistics Associate to the development, implementation and monitoring of logistics component facilitates the delivery of concrete and sustainable results for the respective section, which in turn enhances the offices and UNICEF's capacity in helping the most vulnerable women and children.
Under the direct supervision of Chief of Field Office and Technical supervision by Supply & Logistics Specialist, the Senior Supply & Logistics Associate will perform below tasks.
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have
First university degree or equivalent (BTS / DUT) in, economics or law or logistics, supplemented by courses in technical or Supply, logistics or related field.
work experience
A minimum of 7 years of relevant administrative experience in supply chain management is required. Experience in an international organization is desirable. Understanding of development and humanitarian work is an advantage.
Language
Fluency in French is required and Working knowledge of English. local language of the duty station is desirable

Good understanding of public /UN procurement procedures and humanitarian logistics management, supply chain /Supply management.
Good understanding of computer (MS office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet) essential.
Good stress-resistance and work skills in a challenging safety environment.
Ability to manage and monitor the effective use of financial and material resources.
Knowledge of SAP an added advantage.
