Here’s where you come in:

As Global Fund Program Director, Chad you will be responsible for overall leadership and management of the Global Fund – financed Malaria Project in Chad, for which World Vision (WV) is a Sub Recipient (SR):

  • Lead World Vision Chad Sub Recipient Project Management Unit (SMU) and implementing partners to the attainment of set Country Program targets for Chad Global Fund National Malaria program.
  • Oversee the launch, management and implementation of the project (programmatic and financial) in the different regions where WVC is working, and maintaining productive communications and relationships with the Principal Recipient (UNDP), the Chad Country Coordinating Mechancism (CCM), the Chad National Ministry of Health and other Sub Recipient and technical partners of the Global Fund Malaria program in Chad.
  • Coordinate and interface with Regional Office, WV Chad National Office Senior Leadership and World Vision Germany to ensure all necessary support to project implementation and execution from partnership support services.

Requirements include:

  • 5 to 7 years’ of experience managing complex donor funded health program. (Global Fund experience preferred, developing country setting preferred.
  • At least 10 years’ experience overall in development or public health field.
  • Degree in Medicine and/or Masters Degree in Public Health.
  • Previous experience working with major donors and UN.
  • Must be bilingual French and English speaker.
  • Travel: At least 40 - 50% Domestic (Chad) /International travel is required.
